A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney in San Francisco, CA, with the option for hybrid or fully remote work. The role supports innovation in legal service delivery within the Litigation and Intellectual Property business units, focusing on people, process, and technology. The position collaborates across various departments and reports to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation.

Duties

• Lead projects to optimize client service delivery and increase efficiencies.
• Coordinate and implement technology integration, including generative AI.
• Serve as a resource for practice resource questions and technology adoption.
• Support large litigation teams with matter management and workflow design.
• Develop client-facing solutions and improve practice content delivery.
• Educate legal professionals on technology and practice content initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and admission to practice in a US jurisdiction.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a litigation or IP attorney in a large law firm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with legal technology and AI applications in legal services.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.

Certifications

• Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
