Duties

• Advise on bank chartering and money transmission licensing.

• Assist with legal matters related to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
• Collaborate with financial regulators and compliance teams.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in payments or banking law.
• Experience with bank chartering or money transmission licensing.
• CA, WA, or NY bar membership preferred.
• Superior academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with blockchain technology companies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with financial regulators like OCC, CFTC, or state regulators is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
