Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Employee Benefits Associate to join their collaborative team in Raleigh, NC. The team advises a diverse range of clients on benefits and compensation topics, including retirement plans, ESOPs, and executive agreements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to and grow the team's ESOP practice.

Duties

• Advise clients on a broad range of benefits and compensation topics.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to enhance team capabilities.
• Build and maintain client relationships independently.
• Contribute to the growth of the ESOP practice.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation.
• Experience with private-company ESOPs is helpful but not required.
• Commitment to the long-term practice of employee benefits and executive compensation.
• Ability to work in any of the firm's office locations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Virginia or North Carolina Bar (or ability to become licensed and remain in good standing).
