Duties

• Independently manage a high-volume caseload of complex litigation matters from inception through trial or settlement.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests; conduct legal research to guide client strategy.
• Represent clients in depositions, court appearances, and mediations; prepare witnesses and experts for trial.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing guidance on legal issues and potential exposure.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution to achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Bar in Louisiana (Active and in Good Standing).
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with exposure to First-Party Property and General Liability defense preferred.
