Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to work remotely from New York, USA. The attorney will manage contested and litigated matters, including New York Commercial Foreclosure litigation, utilizing their legal expertise to support clients throughout the state.

Duties

• Attend trials and hearings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Travel throughout New York as needed.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and other assigned duties.
• Assist with special projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation/courtroom experience; foreclosure experience preferred.
• Active member of the New York Bar with all necessary licenses and continuing education.
• Proficient in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Experience with Fastcase or Westlaw.
