A well-regarded law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate attorney to join its Medical Malpractice Defense team in the Baltimore, Maryland office. Location:

Duties:

• Assist in the defense of medical malpractice cases

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Participate in depositions, court hearings, and trial preparation

• Support senior attorneys in managing caseloads

• Maintain communication with clients, medical professionals, and experts

• Analyze medical records and expert reports

Requirements:

• Litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice

• Strong interest in litigation and healthcare defense

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong time management and organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Maryland Bar (required)

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong analytical and legal research capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
