Duties:

  • Manage a variety of sophisticated commercial litigation cases, handling all aspects of case preparation and client interactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts, with experience in this area considered a plus.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings, showcasing strong advocacy.
  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys while maintaining a high degree of independence.
  • Assist with business development efforts, leveraging entrepreneurial drive to contribute to firm growth.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in commercial litigation or a related field.
  • Proven ability to draft legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload with limited supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A demonstrated proactive approach to work, with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Texas Bar admission is required.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Texas Bar admission required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
