Marketing and Business Development Specialist
The candidate will report to the Marketing Director and work directly with attorneys ensuring consistency of the Firm’s marketing and brand messaging. Work in collaboration with Marketing Director, firm attorneys and practice area leadership to provide strategic and creative direction to ensure office/regional priorities are being met. Oversee the day-to-day functions of the South Florida offices – be the “face of marketing” and “eyes and ears” of the South Florida offices. Develop and/or expand on regional, office-wide and practice group business development planning. Draft and update practice group content and lawyer biographies for firm website, pitches and promotional materials. Write and distribute press releases and announcements for media outlets and firm website. Prepare customized pitches, proposals, presentations and RFP responses. Coordinate and draft submissions for key ranking publications and award nominations. Create and format electronic marketing materials including client alerts and newsletters and perform analytics to suggest opportunities for business development based on results for the South Region offices. Coordinate event planning for the Region’s offices- including retreats, lunch and learns, webinars, client networking events, dinners and conferences, holiday parties, etc.. Support other departments and assist with other marketing and research projects, including updating the marketing contacts database, as needed. Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field is required. Should have 5+ years of marketing, communications or professional services experience. Law firm experience is preferred.
