Job Overview:

A leading law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a seasoned litigation professional with a strong background in personal injury law to take on a high-impact trial attorney role focusing on premises liability matters. This position demands a proactive, courtroom-savvy attorney ready to manage a dynamic caseload, advocate fiercely for clients, and navigate all phases of civil litigation. Duties:

• Oversee a high-volume docket with approximately 150 personal injury matters, including ~50 in active litigation monthly

• Represent clients from intake through trial or settlement

• Conduct depositions, mediations, pre-trial motions, and court hearings

• Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client’s case

• Serve as lead attorney in jury trials, handling all aspects from voir dire through verdict

• Communicate frequently and transparently with clients to ensure clarity and trust throughout the legal process

• Collaborate with legal support teams to ensure efficient case progression

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation

• 5-8 years preferred, including experience on either the plaintiff or defense side (plaintiff experience strongly valued)

• Active license in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia

• Additional State Bar admissions are a plus

• At least 5 completed first-chair jury trials required; 10+ preferred

• Strong understanding of Georgia Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence

• Confident courtroom demeanor with demonstrated litigation results

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Georgia Bar membership required

• Additional Bar admissions are beneficial
