Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on estate planning matters for clients.
  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to estate and tax laws.
  • Advise clients on business succession planning and asset protection strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex estate planning cases.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and goals.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law or working toward eligibility for Board Certification.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in estate planning law.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing credentials with experience drafting legal documents.
  • Compelling interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in tax law with knowledge of estate and gift tax planning.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Familiarity with business succession planning and asset protection strategies.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
