Job Title: Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a motivated and skilled Personal Injury Litigation Associate to join its dynamic legal team. This position provides the opportunity to work closely with senior litigators on high-impact plaintiff-side injury matters, including government and school-related liability claims. The ideal candidate will have solid litigation experience, an interest in trial preparation and courtroom appearances, and a desire to grow professionally within a supportive legal environment.

Duties:

• Oversee a caseload involving a range of personal injury litigation matters

• Draft and file legal pleadings, including complaints and responsive motions

• Prepare discovery-related communications, including meet-and-confer letters

• Conduct depositions and prepare clients for testimony

• Handle court appearances and motion hearings

• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

• Negotiate settlements and manage case resolutions

• Support factual investigations and expert witness preparation

• Contribute to trial readiness efforts, including participation in mock trials or focus groups

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of hands-on experience in personal injury litigation

• Familiarity with pre-litigation procedures and discovery practices

• Experience preparing and defending depositions

• Capability to manage multiple cases independently with appropriate supervision

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required

• Previous experience with workers' compensation matters is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient legal research and drafting abilities

• Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt to a tech-enhanced legal workflow, including AI-based tools
