Job Overview:

A well-established law firm specializing in business, real estate, regulatory, and civil litigation is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to handle insurance defense litigation. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience and be capable of managing cases from inception to resolution in a fast-paced legal environment.

Location:

• Orange Park, FL

Duties:

• Manage insurance defense litigation cases from start to finish

• Conduct legal research and analysis

• Handle discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and document requests

• Take and defend depositions

• Prepare and argue motions in court

• Draft case reports and provide strategic recommendations

• Represent clients in hearings and, if applicable, trials

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation

• Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced legal practice

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

• Experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case reporting

• Courtroom experience is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida

• Georgia Bar admission is a plus

Skills:
