A prominent law firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Technology Transactions Associate Attorney through a specialized recruiting firm. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience advising on sophisticated technology and intellectual property transactions across a variety of industries. The role offers a dynamic environment for legal professionals interested in working with cutting-edge technologies, startup ecosystems, and major corporate clients.
Draft and negotiate a wide array of complex technology, intellectual property, and data-related commercial agreements.
Manage strategic information technology and business process outsourcing transactions.
Oversee software development, ERP licensing and implementation agreements, and "as a Service" (aaS) arrangements.
Advise on e-commerce agreements, marketing and advertising contracts, and commercialization of emerging technologies.
Support mergers and acquisitions involving technology assets.
Counsel startup companies and venture-backed enterprises on product development and commercialization matters.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to address technology-related legal issues.
3-5 years of relevant technology transactions experience at a large law firm.
Strong background in strategic sourcing, licensing, and commercial contract negotiation.
Solid understanding of information technology systems, intellectual property, and data privacy regulations.
Experience supporting venture capital investments is a plus.
Prior involvement with artificial intelligence and quantum computing technologies is desirable.
Ability to work independently while efficiently handling multiple assignments.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Texas Bar is required.
Additional bar admissions in Georgia, Illinois, or Massachusetts are preferred.
Candidates must be barred in the jurisdiction corresponding to their office location.
