Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified midlevel or senior associate to join its structured transactions practice group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have law firm experience and excellent academic credentials, with a focus on corporate and/or finance transactions. This role is also available in Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC.

Duties

• Engage in structured finance and securitization transactions.
• Participate in RMBS, ABS, and CLO financing projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Provide legal advice and support on complex financial transactions.

Requirements

• JD degree obtained in 2022 or earlier.
• Experience in corporate and/or finance transactions.
• Background in structured finance and securitization preferred.
• RMBS/ABS/CLO/financing experience highly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
