Duties:

• Handle insurance coverage disputes involving both first-party and third-party claims.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to insurance coverage matters.
• Conduct discovery, including written discovery and depositions.
• Provide legal analysis and advice on insurance policy coverage issues, including complex construction defect cases.
• Engage in legal research and assist with trial preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in insurance coverage and civil litigation.
• Active Texas law license required.
• Strong experience in drafting pleadings, motions, and handling discovery.
• Experience with depositions and civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Familiarity with first-party and third-party insurance coverage issues.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Texas Bar license required.
