A law firm seeks a Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney for its New York City, New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in wealth transfer strategies, estate planning, and trust administration for high-net-worth clients.

Duties

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Provide advice on charitable organizations and trust administration.
• Engage in estate administration and resolve related controversies.
• Interact directly with clients and attorneys to provide legal counsel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Admission to the New York bar.
• Experience with estate and gift taxation, New York SCPA, and EPTL.
• Exceptional analytical and writing abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and interest in tax and estate planning.

Education

• LLM in taxation or estate planning preferred.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York bar.
