Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Residential Real Estate practice group in Springfield, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to represent clients zealously within a highly regarded Residential Real Estate team.

Duties

• Report directly to the Residential Real Estate Department Chair.
• Handle residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
• Review and clear title issues.
• Prepare, review, and explain closing documents.
• Conduct residential real estate closings.
• Coordinate effectively with lenders, brokers, buyers, and sellers.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.
• Prior legal experience in residential real estate or a related practice area.
• Ability to manage matters independently with appropriate supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment in document review.
• Professional, client-facing communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

• Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
