Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support in the formation and structuring of various types of investment funds.
• Represent clients involved in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, and hybrid funds.
• Advise on compliance and regulatory issues related to investment funds.
• Collaborate with clients to draft and negotiate fund-related documentation.
• Maintain close relationships with clients, offering direct support and legal guidance.
• Contribute to the firm’s business development initiatives and strategic growth.
• Stay up-to-date with legal and regulatory developments in the investment management sector.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in investment fund formation and management.
• Expertise in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, or related investment vehicles.
• Experience in handling regulatory and compliance issues in investment management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for direct client engagement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New York Bar or eligibility for admission.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in New York or eligible for admission.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of investment management and fund formation practices.
