Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in East Windsor, NJ, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in commercial and personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills and preferably a clerkship experience.

Job Duties:

• Handle all aspects of commercial and personal injury litigation cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and managing document review.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on litigation matters.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in commercial and personal injury litigation.
• Strong litigation skills and experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clerkship experience preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
