Duties

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts

• Draft and file legal documents including complaints, answers, motions, and discovery requests/responses

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various litigation issues

• Handle pre-trial, trial, and appellate matters

• Participate in depositions, court conferences, hearings, and trials

• Collaborate with other attorneys and firm staff to manage caseloads and litigation strategy

• Engage in client communications and contribute to case development

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation

• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, discovery, and motion practice materials

• Strong oral communication and advocacy skills

• Experience in federal and state court litigation preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic performance required

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in both New York and New Jersey
