Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Project Finance Associate with 3-5 years of experience in energy project finance to join their New York City, NY office. The role involves working on renewable energy and infrastructure matters, focusing on project finance and tax credit transactions.

Duties

• Represent developers, sponsors, lenders, investors, or other project participants in transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related financing documents.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage transaction workstreams.
• Drive matters toward closing with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience with tax credit transactions, including tax equity or energy tax credits.
• Experience with conventional generation or other energy assets is welcomed.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a collaborative environment.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.
• Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located.

Skills

• Sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Large law firm experience preferred.
