A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney to join their team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The successful candidate will assist in litigating a variety of disputes involving complex corporate, real estate, banking, and finance issues.

Duties

• Perform case analysis, litigation planning, and budgeting.
• Handle all pleadings, motion practice, and discovery.
• Prepare witnesses and handle court appearances, conferences, motions, and depositions.
• Manage a litigation trial caseload from beginning to end.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on legal team projects.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the State of New York or admission pending.
• 0-6 years of experience in civil litigation.

Education

• Doctor of Law

• Admitted to practice law in New York
