Duties

• Handle contested estate-related legal matters in probate and civil court.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to develop case strategies.
• Maintain client files in an organized manner for easy access by legal staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients and legal teams to resolve disputes efficiently.
• Assist clients in determining legal strategies for estate disputes and asset protection.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in contract discussions.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in estate or probate litigation.
• Strong ability to litigate complex estate matters with strategic insight.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple cases.
• Passion for estate litigation and a desire to protect client interests.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida State Bar.
• Membership in the American Bar Association (ABA) preferred.
