A law firm seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney in New York City, NY. This role involves handling complex mass tort and product liability cases, working directly with clients and attorneys to develop case-specific discovery, and defending depositions in MDL litigations. The attorney will collaborate with lead trial lawyers to develop case narratives and manage a large volume of clients to ensure smooth case progression.

Duties

• Navigate all phases of mass tort case-specific litigation, including pleadings and discovery.
• Lead discovery efforts, including identifying key documents and deposing fact witnesses.
• Conduct and defend depositions as first or second seat.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Work closely with expert witnesses for depositions and trials.
• Manage complex legal matters independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in any state in the U.S.
• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Familiarity with federal filings.
• Passion for trial work and initiative in case management.
• Experience with complex civil litigation is a plus.
• Clerkship experience is a bonus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in any state in the U.S.
