The candidate will work in the general corporate practice representing companies, investors, and lenders in corporate finance, venture capital, private equity, M&A, and other corporate and commercial transactions. Should have 5 years of transactional experience. Licensure to practice law in the State of Maryland or the District of Columbia is required. Should preferably be self-motivated and organized with an entrepreneurial mindset, and will have experience in transactions, including experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of agreements. Must have excellent academic credentials, strong communication skills, and an ability to take on and complete assignments in a remote environment. Organizational and time-management skills are essential, as the candidate will have to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines. Must also be able to work as part of a team and exercise practical judgment.
