A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Business Immigration to join their team in Santa Monica, California. Remote applicants will be considered, with preference for those able to work Pacific Time Zone hours. The role involves collaborating with legal teams to prepare and file business-related visa petitions, ensuring compliance and effective client communication.

Duties

• Analyze and communicate options for clients' business immigration needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients during and after the application process.
• Draft, assemble, and finalize case materials with the file production team.
• Collaborate with supporting staff to ensure correct application preparation and filing.
• Maintain accuracy for high-volume, rapid turnover cases.
• Assist clients and staff with questions throughout the filing process.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Valid membership in an applicable Bar association.
• 1-3 years of business immigration experience in an attorney position.
• Strong knowledge of various case types, including NIV and IV cases.
• Paralegal experience may be considered.
• Proven success in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Bar membership in good standing.
