A well-established law firm in Fremont, CA is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile family law cases, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and prenuptial agreements. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for supporting clients through difficult life events while demonstrating strong legal expertise and courtroom skills.

Duties:

• Manage and organize client files, ensuring they remain up-to-date and accurate.

• Advocate for clients, understanding their unique needs, and developing comprehensive legal strategies.

• Handle marital asset division, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.

• Represent clients effectively in court hearings as needed.

• Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and court orders.

• Manage a high volume of family law cases, ensuring efficient and timely completion.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in family law.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially in high-pressure, emotionally charged situations.

• Proven track record of success both inside and outside of the courtroom.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must be licensed to practice law in California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• A 4-year undergraduate degree is required.

Certifications:

• Must hold active California Bar membership.

Skills:

• Expertise in family law, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and prenuptial agreements.

• Familiarity with handling sensitive cases involving child abuse, domestic violence, and other complex family matters.
