Duties

• Represent clients in Immigration Courts for asylum, cancellation of removal, and adjustment of status.
• Advocate for clients before USCIS and ICE.
• Represent minors in probate or family court for SIJS orders.
• Travel to detention centers nationwide as needed.
• Develop litigation skills and manage cases effectively.
• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Engage in community outreach and workshops.
• Conduct client intake and consultations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
• Willingness to explore new legal theories.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California preferred.

Skills
