Duties:

  • Provide counsel to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and domestic violence.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.

  • Prepare legal documents such as petitions, complaints, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist clients in court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases to gain insight and experience.
  • Stay updated on legal developments impacting clients in family law.
  • Utilize legal research tools and technology proficiently.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the New York State Bar.
  • 0-5 years of experience in family/matrimonial law.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
