Our Firm is currently seeking an experienced Healthcare Consultant to join our team. This position will work with our accounting staff and physician practice clientele to provide: Revenue Cycle Optimization, Complete Medical Practice Consulting, Practice Start-up Assistance, Business Office Accounting Assistance/ Training, Project Management, and Staffing/ Human Resources Assistance.

Essential Functions - Revenue Cycle Operational Management

Reimbursement and revenue cycle analysis

Advanced payment models and revenue maximization

Accounts receivable management and collections

Key practice indicator reporting and analysis

Medical records, billing, and audits

Business process efficiencies and re-engineering

Capital and operational budgets

Essential Functions- Consulting/ Advisory Services

Strategic planning / Growth Strategies

Practice Start-ups

Mergers and Acquisitions

Staffing Analysis/ Personnel Recruitment

Serving as liaison between client and 3rd party vendors

HIPAA compliance and ongoing maintenance

Administration

Assessment of equipment and facility needs

EHR/EMR and practice management system evaluation, inter-operability, and project management

Feasibility and Cash Flow Analysis

Working Capital and Financial requirements

Provider Credentialing

Practice Flow and Schedule Analysis

Industry Presentations and Representation

Preferred Credentials and Experience

A Healthcare Consultant is a dynamic, high profile position within our Firm which requires a broad-based understanding of both the business and medicinal components of healthcare. Our consultants engage in business development activities including networking, meeting with potential clients, and helping the firm identify service lines to enhance or pursue. Qualifications include:

Dedicated individual that values integrity, quality, and professionalism

Problem Solver

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Ability to manipulate and analyze complicated data using software tools

Strong organizations skills and attention to detail

Ability to work with a variety of clients and team members

Independent / Self-starter

Proficient in use of a variety of software tools- QuickBooks knowledge a plus

Ability to travel

Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related field. Master’s degree preferred.

5- 10 years of relevant experience
