Duties:

• Review and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and judgments.
• Attend court appearances in Montgomery County and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with staff on collection and litigation activities.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues.
• Advise clients on tax matters and provide legal counsel.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients.
• Participate in marketing and networking activities.
• Attend local events and statewide conferences, including evening and weekend events.
• Draft memoranda for the firm and clients.
• Assist with appellate matters and support other legal activities.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (required).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete work accurately and timely.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Texas Bar membership (required).
