Job Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on environmental law matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to environmental regulations, statutes, and case law.
• Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, contracts, and agreements.
• Assist in environmental compliance assessments and due diligence reviews for corporate transactions.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, negotiations, and litigation involving environmental issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop strategies for environmental compliance and risk management.
• Stay updated on developments in environmental law and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in environmental law.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and enforcement mechanisms.
• Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Current license to practice law in New York or eligibility for admission to the New York Bar.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
