Duties

• Handle personal injury case files from start to finish.
• Evaluate potential claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
• Draft, review, and modify various legal documents.
• Meet all pre-litigation filing deadlines.
• Research case law and oversee evidence collection.
• Develop case theories and negotiation strategies.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and insurance adjusters.
• Negotiate agreements and settle on clients' behalf.
• Review liens and expenses before settlement disbursement.
• Represent clients at hearings and mediations.
• Document and update case files in the management system.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Membership in the Virginia State Bar Association.
• Virginia state license to practice law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.

Education

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid Virginia Bar license.
