A law firm seeks a Business and Real Estate Attorney in Westlake Village, California. This role involves both virtual and in-person consultations, focusing on various business law practice areas.

Duties

• Meet with prospective and current clients to gather information and design business plans.
• Draft and review operating agreements, bylaws, and other client contracts.
• Prepare and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence.
• Review and prepare commercial lease agreements and real estate transaction documents.
• Organize and maintain case and client files effectively.
• Conduct client meetings, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client matters and technical questions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an attorney with business transactional expertise.
• Ability to solve problems and assist staff with arising issues.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with professionalism and client focus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled at meeting strict deadlines under time pressure.

Education

• Licensed attorney by the California State Bar.
