Duties

• Represent clients in court hearings related to family law matters

• Analyze client needs and legal situations to develop strategic solutions

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, judgments, and orders

• Assist in the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings

• Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to efficiently manage cases through the civil litigation process

Requirements

• Experience in family law (preferred)

• Ability to handle sensitive and emotionally charged legal issues with professionalism

• Skilled in negotiation and litigation under pressure

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and legal research tools

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
