Job Overview
A law firm seeks an attorney with 2 to 7 years of experience in civil litigation to join their Casualty section in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, excellent advocacy and writing skills, and strong communication abilities.

Duties

• Defend a variety of casualty cases, including wrongful death, products liability, and premises liability.
• Handle day-to-day case management with partner oversight.
• Conduct client meetings, reporting, and investigations.
• Engage in discovery and motion practice.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Requirements

• 2 to 7 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with personal injury litigation preferred.
• Valid Texas BAR license required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong advocacy and writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
