Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-4 years of experience, preferably in personal injury, insurance defense, or class action matters. The attorney will represent clients in civil litigation and provide legal counsel on various matters.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage caseload efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Attend meetings with clients, hearings, and settlement negotiations when necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, insurance defense, or class action matters.
• Computer proficiency with knowledge of legal research databases and document management software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Decisiveness and ability to make sound legal judgments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio State Bar.

Skills:

• Litigation experience, particularly in personal injury, insurance defense, or class action matters.
• Legal research and writing proficiency.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
