Duties: Welcome clients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; transferring calls; and answering or referring inquiries. Maintain reception areas by screening type of inquiry and/or transferring calls to legal assistant. Follow all telephone operating instructions and call for repairs as needed. Update appointment and location schedules by inputting data accurately. Support attorneys through follow-up on “no show” appointments. Prepare files for new clients. Ensure supplies are stocked and re-order when necessary. Distribute mail and faxes. Other general administration duties. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Accomplish law firm mission by completing related results as needed.
