A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in St. Petersburg, FL. Duties

• Argue motions and represent clients in family law proceedings from start to finish.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence with minimal revisions.
• Develop and execute case strategies, identifying issues and mapping resolutions.
• Manage mandatory disclosure and discovery efficiently and on time.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to maintain case progress.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Florida.
• 3+ years of litigation experience in family law and/or criminal law.
• Reside within 30 miles of downtown St. Petersburg (on-site role).
• Strong legal research and writing skills; proficient in Westlaw or Lexis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, cloud tools, and open to using AI responsibly.
• Effective communicator with clients, courts, and team members.
• Capable of critical thinking, strategic problem-solving, and handling challenging conversations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
