Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Finance Associate to join their Financial Practices Group in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have 4-7+ years of experience in commercial finance and/or real estate finance transactions.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate loan and security documents.
• Manage transactions from inception to closing.
• Collaborate with a team of finance attorneys on debt financing transactions.

Requirements

• California-admitted attorney.
• Strong academic background from a top law school or comparable firm experience.
• Experience with UCC Article 9 or real estate secured lending.
• Experience representing both lenders and borrowers is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills

• Ability to manage complex transactions.
