Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level or senior Real Estate Associate to join its practice in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience advising clients on real estate matters and will work closely with partners and clients on a variety of transactions and projects.

Duties

• Represent clients in acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of real property.
• Draft and negotiate real estate-related contracts, including purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases.
• Coordinate and close real estate transactions, including due diligence and zoning analysis.
• Advise on construction, development, and joint venture arrangements.
• Mentor junior associates and oversee work streams.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of sophisticated real estate practice experience.
• Experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development matters.
• Prior law firm experience required; lender-side financing experience valued.
• Admission to, and good standing with, the State Bar of Georgia.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
