A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate to join its Public & Private Infrastructure & Real Estate Department in Houston. The role involves representing a diverse clientele, including real estate investors, developers, and financial institutions, in various real estate transactions.

Duties

• Represent clients in real estate transactions, including acquisition, financing, planning, zoning, construction, leasing, and sale.
• Draft and review legal documents related to real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Engage in due diligence processes, including title and survey reviews.
• Collaborate with clients and legal teams to provide strategic solutions.
• Utilize innovative technology platforms to enhance legal research and document drafting.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in real estate and land use law, preferably in a national law firm.
• Expertise in real estate finance, leasing, and commercial transactions.
• Experience with renewable and conventional energy project acquisitions is preferred.
• Strong academic record and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and legal teams.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting and communication.
• Thorough understanding of commercial real estate due diligence.
• Familiarity with technology platforms for legal research and drafting.
