A law firm seeks a dedicated Family Law Attorney in Orlando, FL, to represent clients in divorce and paternity matters. The role involves assisting individuals with prenuptial agreements, mediation, and court hearings related to divorce, paternity, parenting, time sharing, equitable distribution, alimony, and child support.

Duties

• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to advance cases through the civil litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders for numerous cases.
• Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are up-to-date.
• Represent clients effectively at court hearings as required.
• Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.

Requirements

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, especially in high-stress situations.
• Licensed attorney in good standing in Florida.
• Experience with at least 40 hearings, 20 trials, and 20 mediations.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to provide empathy.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
