Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in North Bethesda, MD, is seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This firm specializes in civil litigation and is looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in personal injury or insurance defense litigation. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a heavy caseload, engage in case evaluation, discovery, depositions, and trials, and work effectively with clients.

Duties:

• Handle case intake, evaluation, and discovery for personal injury cases.
• Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Participate in depositions and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and provide detailed analysis.
• Manage a substantial caseload and meet deadlines.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and advice.
• Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or insurance defense.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal cases.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as motions and pleadings.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Fluency in Spanish or Korean is a plus.
• Active Bar membership in MD, DC, and/or VA.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member of the Bar in Maryland, District of Columbia, and/or Virginia.

Skills:

• Litigation experience, especially in personal injury or insurance defense.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
