Duties

• Oversee residential and commercial closings, including purchases, sales, and refinancing

• Conduct title examinations and ensure title compliance

• Coordinate with lenders, realtors, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction process

• Draft and review contracts, deeds, lease agreements, and financing documentation

• Lead client interactions during the closing process, addressing legal concerns and ensuring clarity

• Review and approve disbursement ledgers and sign off on closing checks

• Cultivate new business and maintain relationships with industry professionals

• Deliver educational presentations to potential clients on real estate legal matters

Requirements

• Active member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing)

• Prior exposure to residential real estate transactions is preferred; open to training suitable candidates

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

• Demonstrated initiative and ability to collaborate across teams and with clients

• Community-oriented with a desire to grow within the residential real estate field

• Proven record of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
