A law firm in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Corporate Attorney with 8-10 years of law firm or clerkship experience. The ideal candidate will focus on transactional work, specifically mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, divestitures, financings, and general contract matters. The role requires extensive experience in representing public and private organizations with local, national, and multinational operations.

Duties:

• Handle various corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, divestitures, and financings.
• Provide legal advice on general corporate and business matters.
• Build and maintain a practice around mergers and acquisitions.
• Represent public and private organizations with local, national, and multinational operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the state.
• 8-10 years of law firm or clerkship experience.
• Prior employment in a law firm environment is particularly favored.
• Excellent academic background.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions.
