The candidate will work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process. Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action. Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments and orders for a high volume of cases. Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current. Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed. A Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and a J.D. degree is required. Should have 7+ years of family law experience. Should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high. Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) is needed.
