• Manage U.S. and international patent portfolios
• Respond to office actions and engage in examiner interviews
• Support IP due diligence in transactional matters
• Stay informed on developments in patent law and relevant scientific fields

Requirements

• 20 years of experience in patent law with a focus on hard sciences
• Extensive experience with patent drafting and prosecution
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Experience advising clients on IP strategy and risk

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Advanced degree in a hard science discipline preferred

Certifications

• Active state bar license in good standing
• USPTO registration required
