Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial stages.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.
• Draft and file legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Advise clients on criminal charges, potential defenses, and legal rights.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and prosecutors to reach settlements or plea deals.
• Advocate for clients in court appearances and hearings, presenting evidence and arguments.
• Develop and implement effective case strategies, identifying and utilizing relevant evidence.
• Stay updated on current criminal law trends, changes in statutes, and legal precedents.
• Maintain organized and accurate case records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar or pending Bar admission.
• Strong interest in criminal defense and client advocacy.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar or pending Bar admission.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and writing.
