Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced employment litigation associate with over three years of experience to join its New York City practice. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in defense-side employment litigation and provide advice and counsel on employment matters.

Duties

• Handle defense-side employment litigation cases, including harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
• Provide advice and counsel on offer letters, separation agreements, and policy reviews.
• Review employee handbooks for compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Engage in employment agreements and restrictive covenants.
• Assist with executive compensation matters.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York; additional admissions in Connecticut, New Jersey, or California are a plus.
• Experience in plaintiff-side representation and traditional labor is advantageous.
• Possession of portable business is beneficial but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
